decision and economic sciences lab

Welcome to the Decision and Economic Sciences Laboratory. We are comprised of researchers interested in decision making in a variety of environments. We conduct experiments to better understand how and why people make decisions.

Become a Research Assistant. The success of the lab depends upon the involvement of bright and motivated undergraduates, and we welcome your interest. Our ongoing research projects are interdisciplinary, using methods in behavioral and experimental economics, psychology, and cognitive science. As a research assistant in the lab, you will have the opportunity to participate in and learn about various phases of the research process. You may play an essential role in the initial planning and design of studies, recruitment of participants, collection and analysis of data, and preparation of data for presentation and publication. Undergraduate research assistants may also develop independent research projects. If all of this sounds interesting to you, please contact me at mrigdon @
